Who must sit the tests

The test depends on what you are applying for.

The indfødsretsprøven

You must sit the indfødsretsprøven if you apply for Danish citizenship.

The medborgerskabsprøven

You must sit the medborgerskabsprøven if you apply for a permanent residence permit. The test is one of the requirements, and there are others.
